The intention of HD English Teaching

Recently, there have been some desks and chairs in the corridors at HD Qingdao, which attracted the attention of some of our staff. Of course these desks and chairs were not used for teaching. So what exactly were they used for? Were they used to enable one-to-one conversations between the teachers and students? Or were they used as reading areas for the students and rest spaces for our teachers?

Actually, they were there to enable one-to-one English assessments to take place between our international teachers and the students. By using individual assessments and getting to know each child individually, our international team were best able to pinpoint the level of English instruction required for each child so that they may make the most progress possible over the coming semester.
